The Geophysics program applies Physics concepts to analyze Earth's subsurface structure and dynamics. Geophysical techniques help identify energy resources, mineral and oil reserves, archaeological finds, and other subsurface features. Experts in this field also evaluate natural risks such as seismic activity and volcanic eruptions through Earth core studies. The Bachelor of Science with Major offers extensive customization, covering diverse subject areas. Students can complement their major with an optional minor or pursue a dual major, tailoring their education to either combine two interests or concentrate on a single field. The curriculum provides flexibility to maintain a broad focus or specialize in a particular discipline. Over 60 minor options are available across various faculties including Arts, Native Studies, Business, and Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences.
