Our Astrophysics curriculum delves into diverse inquiries regarding the physics and characteristics of celestial bodies, galaxies, and the cosmos. Students will examine the fundamental principles governing astrophysical phenomena while gaining computational skills to address complex physics and geophysical challenges. Hands-on learning is facilitated through departmental facilities like the Astronomical Observatory, which supports both solar and nighttime observations. The Bachelor of Science with Major offers a versatile academic path with extensive subject options, featuring an optional minor or dual major. This adaptable structure empowers learners to tailor their studies around dual interests or concentrate on a single specialization. Participants can maintain a broad academic scope or pursue intensive study in their preferred field. The minor selection spans over 60 disciplines, incorporating offerings from Arts, Native Studies, Business, and Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences.
