Elementary teaching is more than a profession—it's a vocation that shapes young minds. Our Bachelor of Education (Elementary) program in the Faculty of Education equips you to guide children from Kindergarten through Grade 6 in today's multicultural learning environments. The curriculum features both a five-week Introductory Professional Term (IPT) and a nine-week Advanced Professional Term (APT). Available as either a four-year program or an after-degree option, successful graduates receive a Bachelor of Education (BEd) and qualify for Alberta teacher certification.
