Sustainability studies examine the connection between a number of factors that impact the world we live in. You'll dive into economic, environmental, and social studies as part of this program. When you take sustainability studies at Augustana, you'll focus on the environment as well as economic and social sustainability. These systems are all related and required to address sustainable practices. This program will help you to work through these complex issues. You'll also learn analytical skills and build the confidence needed to promote change in the world in which we live.Augustana is a small campus located in Camrose, Alberta, just one hour southeast of Edmonton. This liberal arts and science campus is home to just over 1,000 students from across Canada and around the world. Augustana offers degree programs in an intimate and personalized setting, with an average class size of 22 people. Each semester is comprised of a three-week session studying a single course, followed by a more traditional 11-week session studying up to four courses. This gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into research, travel, and other experiential learning endeavors, while at the same time reducing stress and workload.

All undergraduate applicants, regardless of citizenship status, are required to fulfill language proficiency requirements.
