The International Studies program integrates multiple disciplines including Political Studies, History, and Economics to provide a comprehensive global perspective. Earning this degree equips you with the knowledge to analyze worldwide issues and contribute to solving complex international challenges. Offering three distinct specialization tracks, the program ensures every student can tailor their academic journey. Our curriculum examines both historical and modern viewpoints, encouraging students to explore evolving global relationships. Expert faculty guide discussions on critical subjects like conflict resolution, diplomatic strategies, global integration, wealth inequality, and worldwide progress initiatives. We strongly recommend study abroad opportunities to apply classroom theories in real-world settings. Students often gain professional experience through internships at Ottawa's Laurentian Leadership Centre. Campus involvement opportunities abound, particularly through student-run programs like the Model UN.
