The Indigenous Studies Academic Foundations Certificate enhances your knowledge and connections with Indigenous communities. Explore the rich histories of Indigenous peoples and their lands while gaining insights into modern-day perspectives. This one-year curriculum includes diverse topics such as British Columbia's Indigenous Cultures, Policy and Legislative Changes, Worldwide Indigenous Histories, Academic Composition, and additional subjects. Serving as an excellent educational foundation, the certificate offers seamless credit transfer options to Douglas College or other post-secondary institutions. Numerous courses count as electives for various Douglas College programs.
