Languages like French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and their related civilizations have spread globally through migration, cultural blending, and colonization over centuries. Romance studies examines the unifying threads—despite vast regional differences—that connect linguistic patterns, historical developments, belief systems, literary traditions, political frameworks, and civilizations across diverse regions from Northern Europe to Quebec, the Amazon, and Southern Latin America.

Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
