The program caters to both full-time and part-time students pursuing academic enrichment in Italian Humanism, spanning from the early Renaissance through modern eras. Housed in the Department of World Languages and Literatures under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, this Italian Studies program accommodates learners at various commitment levels. It can be pursued alongside and enhances major/minor programs in French, humanities, history, and contemporary arts. Requiring foundational Italian language skills (writing, reading, and speaking), the curriculum prepares students for advanced studies in literature, history, and arts, and can be integrated with degree programs.
If you've completed, or are about to complete, your grade 12 or senior year in a Canadian, American, or international high school.
English Language minimum requirement:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic): Overall 6.5 with no part less than 6.0
Cambridge English Qualifications: Overall score 176 with no part less than 169
