Trent University's International Development Studies (IDS) program provides students with analytical frameworks to examine social change. Drawing from 10 different academic disciplines, the IDS curriculum addresses diverse topics including economic inequality, environmental issues, armed conflicts, and gender dynamics. Students engage with faculty from anthropology, political science, economics and other fields in courses that combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience while fostering analytical skills and equity-focused perspectives. The interdisciplinary nature of the program includes distinctive international study opportunities, allowing students to expand their learning beyond borders.
Student must complete High School diploma (or equivalent) qualification.
