Biology explores all forms of life, ranging from microscopic bacteria and cells to complex plants and animals. This curriculum covers fundamental principles from cellular biology to ecological systems and computational biology.
The program combines coursework in chemistry, computer science, and business administration. Students have access to paid cooperative education placements, hands-on industry research, and an original thesis project.
Specialization options include Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Biophysics, or Environmental Biology, allowing students to tailor their academic path. Alternatively, students may opt for a Management Sciences concentration.
This program is part of a trio of bachelor of science degrees that begin with a shared first-year curriculum.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including some program specific requirements.
English language requirements: IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL: 83-87 Internet-based, CAEL score of 60 and PTE score of 60, Cambridge English - 180 and above on C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency.
February 1 is the guaranteed consideration date for applications to all programs.
