The ESTR (Education and Skills Training) initiative provides four specialized certificates designed for individuals facing employment challenges, equipping them with foundational skills for workforce entry.
These nine-month programs operate from September to May, blending classroom instruction with practical learning experiences. Participants will build essential job preparedness competencies, potentially earn industry-recognized certifications, and engage in various preparatory activities for entry-level roles across multiple sectors. These opportunities may involve on-campus work placements or collaborations with community employers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before October 1 of the year of entry.
