Our Health Care Assistant (HCA) program adheres to the government-approved curriculum and is accredited by the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry. This nine-month program combines classroom instruction with practical training in our advanced simulation lab, equipping you to care for seniors across various settings including independent living, assisted care, long-term facilities, and end-of-life care. The HCA pathway offers international healthcare professionals a rewarding opportunity to apply their existing knowledge while gaining Canadian healthcare system orientation. While many choose to build lifelong careers as HCAs, others may advance to become Licensed Practical Nurses through our LPN diploma program.
