This program equips graduates to meet the Entry to Practice Competencies and Standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Upon completion, students qualify to take the national licensing exam. Passing this exam grants them Registered Practical Nurse status in Ontario, with the option for interprovincial registration across Canada.
Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) serve in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, and specialized units. Their expertise spans multiple areas including pediatric care, mental health services, surgical settings, chronic wound management, end-of-life care, and community health programs.
