This specialized program offers identical clinical training as the standard After Degree Program, while also allowing students to pursue advanced research knowledge under the guidance of Nursing Faculty researchers. As a graduate from any academic discipline, you've honed valuable critical thinking abilities, acquired supplementary educational and professional competencies, and accumulated life experiences that position you as an ideal candidate for both this program and a future in nursing.

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) serves as your gateway to becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), unlocking diverse career opportunities within healthcare and related fields. The University of Alberta's Faculty of Nursing ranks among Canada's premier nursing institutions, renowned for its research leadership, innovative practices, and exceptional clinical placement options. Our faculty operates from the cutting-edge Edmonton Clinic Health Academy, a modern health sciences education complex located next to the University of Alberta Hospital.
