Construction Engineering Technicians are vital to building and infrastructure projects, handling key responsibilities at job sites. Their tasks involve material estimation, testing, and inspection, conducting construction surveys, as well as interpreting specifications and implementing designs from contract documents, shop drawings, and CAD files. This program is ideal for students passionate about construction who possess technical problem-solving abilities and strong teamwork skills.

Shared first-year courses among Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technician, and Architectural Technology enable seamless transitions between these programs.

Career Opportunities
Construction engineering technicians can pursue diverse roles on job sites, including positions as site supervisors, junior estimators, or surveyors with general contractors, architectural firms, and engineering companies. Additional opportunities are available with building material manufacturers, subcontractors, and government organizations.
High school diploma/graduation certificate and transcript or equivalent in original language and English translation.
OSSD with the majority of courses at the College(C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level plus:
Grade 12 Math (C) or (U)
English Proficiency Requirements:
IELTS overall band of 6.0.
PTE (Pearson Test of English) minimum score 60
TOEFL overall 83.
CAEL minimum score 60
CELPIP General 7.0 in each module.
