The Nursing degree program equips students with the skills needed to deliver healthcare across diverse environments. Upon completion, graduates will practice nursing within professional boundaries, adhering to guidelines set by Ontario's College of Nurses. Those studying nursing will develop competencies to assist patients, families, and important support networks. Learners will cultivate clinical reasoning abilities to make informed care decisions. Successful graduates qualify to take the NCLEX-RN examination, the pathway to becoming a licensed Registered Nurse in Canada.
OSSD with 6 Grade 12 (U/M) courses including Grade 12 English (ENG4U) with a minimum of 65%, Chemistry (SCH4U) and Biology (SBI4U) with an overall average of 70% or better (with a minimum of 70% in both Chemistry and Biology) and Grade 12 Math (U) or (C) is required for admissions.
OR St. Clair College or Lambton College Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees certificate.
