Our updated curriculum emphasizes collaborative learning and cross-disciplinary courses. Learners can tailor their studies to align with their passions while preparing for professional practice in just five terms. Gain hands-on experience applying public health principles, techniques, and theories in Canadian or international settings. This intensive, work-integrated practicum spans one academic term, typically during the summer of your first year, at an approved organization. The 13-week placement includes 11 weeks of on-site experience.
The MPH capstone features a realistic, multifaceted case study requiring students to:
identify and analyze affected populations and key concerns;
utilize existing data to comprehend the situation;
select suitable analytical frameworks for data interpretation; and
develop comprehensive recommendations to effectively address the challenge.
