Population health studies focus on examining both personal and societal influences that shape health outcomes, using these insights to enhance overall wellbeing and address disparities among different populations. We incorporate 'community' to acknowledge our discipline's longstanding commitment to fostering, safeguarding, and advancing health within various communities - whether defined by location or shared characteristics and relationships.

As a program participant, you'll gain expertise in managing projects, employing both qualitative and quantitative research approaches, and effective communication. You'll design and oversee a personalized research initiative while collaborating with our community allies and associated research centers including:

Saskatchewan Population Health and Evaluation Research Unit
Saskatchewan Cancer Control Research Program
Saskatoon HIVAIDS Research Endeavour
