Our developmental team consists of four principal researchers: Tanya Broesch, Jeremy Carpendale, Hali Kil, and Joanna Peplak. We maintain a robust research profile within the developmental science field, with particular expertise in social, moral, and cross-cultural development studies. Our faculty members are actively engaged in the academic community, regularly presenting at international conferences and publishing in prominent journals.

Broesch has established herself as a pioneer in cultural development research, employing community-based and participant-centered methodologies. She currently leads a SSHRC-supported international collaborative study examining cultural socialization practices. Her groundbreaking research has illuminated how cultural environments shape development globally, including her ongoing work in Vanuatu.
