The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science provides a Bachelor of Science (BSc) honors degree in actuarial science through the Faculty of Science.
Established in 2001, the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science has evolved into a vibrant community with around 530 undergraduate students, 62 graduate students, and 24 faculty members. The department's faculty are recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions to applied and theoretical statistics, actuarial science, and emerging fields like data science. Students at both undergraduate and graduate levels thrive in our department's collaborative and individualized learning atmosphere.
Our actuarial science major and honors programs expose students to diverse fields (mathematics, statistics, economics, business, and computer science) to equip them for careers in actuarial work. Qualification Requirements

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT with an overall score of 88 or better with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (listening, speaking, writing, reading). Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with an overall score of 65, with no part less than 60.
