The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program specializing in film offers a blend of creative, technical, and analytical studies in an interdisciplinary environment. Courses in film and video production focus on developing original content and mastering technical abilities. The curriculum also explores the artistic and societal dimensions of modern filmmaking through dedicated film studies. Students enhance their film and video knowledge by engaging in cross-disciplinary work and collaborative projects. Advanced students can pursue independent studies through directed coursework.
Those more interested in film history, criticism, or theory may explore the Visual Culture and Performance Studies major for a Bachelor of Arts degree, or consider the film and video studies minor program.

Qualification Requirements

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses
The process to apply for the Film program is a questionnaire followed by an interview. Based on the results of the submitted questionnaire, a virtual interview will follow later for approximately half the students who have applied. Please note that applicants for the Film Program may only apply a maximum of two times.
IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT- Overall score 88 with no part less than 20
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)- Overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing
