At its core, Political Science examines systems of power. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences provides a Political Science program featuring a minor option, an African studies certificate, and three combined major possibilities. Students can begin this program at either Burnaby or Surrey campus locations.

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT- Overall score 88 with no part less than 20 Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)- Overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing
