If you're passionate about fairness and belonging, if you wonder how concepts of gender and sexuality shape our communities, or if you're interested in how advocacy and social change can transform society, you'll find value in GSWS courses. We aim to apply feminist, queer, and intersectional perspectives to examine power structures and their societal effects.
The Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies program within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences provides options for a major, extended minor, minor, and combined majors with various other faculty programs.
Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies is dedicated to fostering creativity, academic freedom, social justice advocacy, inclusivity, and meaningful challenges to systemic inequities.
