As a Gender & Social Justice scholar, you'll benefit from integrating methodologies across arts, sciences, and social sciences to investigate diverse themes surrounding gender, race, socioeconomic status, ability, and sexual orientation. You'll acquire tools to question conventional perspectives on feminism, gender roles, and societal disparities while formulating your own perspectives on fairness and justice through interactive workshops and community-engaged learning. Under the mentorship of distinguished faculty researchers and advocates (including Canada Research Chair holders), you'll hone valuable analytical, communication, and social consciousness abilities that are highly valued across multiple professional fields such as social services, teaching, personnel management, government, and corporate sectors, among others.
