This eight-month graduate certificate program offers specialized training for internationally educated nurses focused on preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases. These conditions can significantly impact both physical and cognitive abilities, limiting daily functioning. Upon completion, graduates will gain expertise in caring for cardiac patients, including developing personalized treatment plans, teaching self-care techniques, and evaluating patient health. Note: While this program delivers specialized knowledge, it does not grant nursing licensure in the province. For licensing requirements, consult the College of Nurses of Ontario.
