Our curriculum enhances and hones your artistic abilities. During studio sessions, you'll gain proficiency in ceramic techniques, learn studio safety protocols, and work toward personal objectives. Professional artist instructors provide demonstrations and assignments covering both modern ceramic design approaches and traditional handbuilding, mold creation, wheel throwing, glazing, and firing methods. Qualification Requirements
In addition to meeting the general entrance requirements for admission to Selkirk College, an applicant must meet the following Ceramics Program entrance requirements:
- English at a grade 12 level with a minimum of 60%.
- Students whose first language is not English must fulfill the college’s English language proficiency requirement.
- Submit a completed admission application form and other required documents (i.e., secondary school and any post-secondary transcripts) to the Admissions Office.
