Our Culinary Arts program connects you with seasoned chefs who will help refine and elevate your food preparation abilities. Master contemporary methods and professional kitchen equipment under the guidance of expert instructors in our modern facilities, transforming your love for cuisine into a rewarding profession. Within a collaborative and innovative setting, you'll develop from basic culinary fundamentals to sophisticated food preparation techniques. Classroom knowledge comes to life in our industry-standard kitchens, where you'll create and personalize dishes during a paid work experience. Culinary Arts Diploma students will fulfill a 480-hour paid Industry Work Placement.
Admission requirements for specific programs will often refer to Alberta Grade 12 course groups. If you completed your studies outside of Alberta, please visit our International Course Equivalencies webpage for equivalencies from a variety of countries around the world. Students applying to Culinary Arts must have a minimum of 50% in: ELA 10-1, or equivalent or a minimum of 60% in ELA 10-2, or equivalent and Math 10-3, or equivalent.
