The DSc (RHL) is a 36-month executive degree program designed for active rehabilitation and healthcare practitioners, providing them with essential expertise to advance their careers in leadership, program development, applied research, advocacy, change management, and knowledge dissemination.

The program's structure and content are built on the principle that teamwork, innovation, and new discoveries can drive meaningful improvements for individuals facing or vulnerable to disabilities. It welcomes professionals from rehabilitation or health science backgrounds whose work or aspirations involve enhancing programs, services, and systems to improve quality of life for these populations.

Tailored for working professionals, this cohort-based program allows participants to maintain their employment if preferred. Delivered through a blended-learning approach, the three-year curriculum combines brief, intensive on-campus sessions (3-7 days) occurring once or twice annually (varying by study year) with subsequent online coursework.
