Queen's University's Environmental Studies program offers advanced education in environmental sustainability through an interdisciplinary curriculum. This program examines the enduring effects of environmental transformations, the relationship between present choices and future outcomes, and how human welfare relies on ecological health. With increasing demand for environmental expertise across various sectors, our graduate programs prepare students for professional roles in corporate, governmental, and nonprofit organizations. Designed to meet this rising need, our curriculum facilitates collaborative initiatives with diverse departments at Queen's and RMC, spanning Biology, Business, Chemistry, Developmental Studies, Engineering, Geography, and more.
Students must have a completion of Master’s degree.
English language requirements
Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
