The MEng program in Electrical and Computer Engineering aims to help working engineers enhance and broaden their expertise, including research capabilities. Program graduates will be equipped to implement their knowledge across diverse industrial, governmental, and academic settings.
For the coursework path, participants must finish 10 courses totaling 30 credits, with four mandatory core courses that all Master of Engineering students must complete.
The project-based alternative requires completion of 8 courses (24 credits total) - including the same four core courses - plus a 6-credit project. This culminating project allows students to consolidate and apply knowledge acquired during their studies, with topics tailored to each student's specialization.
All MEng candidates initially enroll in the coursework option. After completing at least one term, students may switch to the project-based option if they secure a faculty advisor for their project.
