Graduates will emerge prepared to excel in multidisciplinary teams serving infants and children aged 0-12. You'll foster learning and creativity to support children's smooth transition into formal schooling. Through interactive group learning, you'll discover innovative approaches to enhance child development by working with their natural growth phases.
The ECE Play Lab enables students to create, implement, observe, and refine early learning environments. Collaborations with community early learning centers offer valuable hands-on experience with young children in supervised settings.
Early Childhood Education - Distance Delivery (A015)
Our fully online ECE program features scheduled synchronous classes each semester. Note that lab components, placement preparation, and actual placements require mandatory attendance and active participation for course completion.
Distance learners must have functioning camera and microphone capabilities to fully engage with coursework and peers. While coursework is online, all practical placements occur in-person at approved local agencies.
Placements typically occur during the program's final semester. Both our on-campus and distance ECE programs deliver comprehensive, intensive training.
