Collaborative learning with instructors and classmates further enriches the educational experience.
Northern College's nursing program features modern practice labs with high-tech simulation equipment, allowing students to develop clinical competencies through realistic patient scenarios. The curriculum integrates current healthcare technologies, including specialized software and digital tools commonly used in medical settings.
BScN students gain practical experience every semester through clinical placements across multiple healthcare environments - including hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health organizations, and community agencies - with their first clinical rotation starting in the initial semester.
