This Pharmacy Technician program, accredited nationwide, fully equips graduates for this dynamic and esteemed profession. As a certified pharmacy technician, you'll participate in prescription dispensing, creating compounded medications and sterile products, pharmaceutical repackaging, inventory control, instructing patients on medical device usage, and delivering patient care. NorQuest's pharmacy technician lab offers students hands-on experience in compounding, sterile product creation, repackaging, inventory control, and prescription dispensing. Within the lab setting, students work with industry-standard technologies like laminar airflow hoods and Kroll® computer software, mirroring real-world professional environments.
Language Arts – this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
60% in English Language Arts 30-1
70% in English Language Arts 30-2
60% in ESLG 1860

Mathematics – this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
60% in Mathematics 30-1
