The Energy Management program is an interdisciplinary field designed to equip students with essential skills for the expanding energy sector workforce. You'll gain expertise in implementing renewable energy solutions, mastering energy efficiency concepts, and interpreting energy policies to help meet organizational and community energy demands. This program emphasizes the business aspects of the energy field, quickly introducing students to cutting-edge technologies including microgeneration systems, supply chain operations, and community energy/emissions strategies. Through its multidisciplinary curriculum, students develop a versatile skill set to thrive in this rapidly evolving industry. Graduates earn a diploma qualifying them for technical positions with strong opportunities for career advancement as they gain professional experience.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Language Arts - this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
60% in English Language Arts 30-1
60% in ESLG 1860
Mathematics - this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
50% in Mathematics 30-1
Note: Academic admission requirements are different from English language proficiency (ELP) requirements. NorQuest College English for Academic Purpose courses may be used to meet both requirements. See below for details.
