Cinema possesses a unique ability to captivate us with its vivid emotional power. In our film studies curriculum, we analyze an artistic medium that has developed sophisticated methods achieving the same cultural significance and creative depth as other art forms. We'll investigate the crucial relationship between visual style and narrative meaning, examining questions of realism, the distinction between presentation and representation, along with both overt and subtle themes involving ideology, historical context, race, and identity. Our objective is to equip students with analytical frameworks for understanding how films influence both personal perspectives and broader societal views.

Qualification Requirements
Official transcripts from all institutions (domestic or international) previously or presently attended, secondary schools, colleges and universities (Domestic and international applicants who have attended postsecondary institutions outside of North America must have their transcripts assessed.
International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with at least six subjects, including three at a higher level, with a minimum final grade of 24, will be considered for admission. Students who successfully complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a score of 24 or higher are eligible to receive up to 30 transfer credits, equivalent to one year of full-time study.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Applicants to all programs except Nursing require a minimum score of 83 (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading, listening and writing, and a minimum score of 22 in speaking.
International English Language Test Service (IELTS) : Applicants to all programs except Nursing require a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum 6 in reading, listening, speaking and writing.
