You'll investigate how societal forces shape various institutions including families, workplaces, schools, healthcare systems, population studies, and legal institutions. To illustrate this breadth: our faculty research subjects as varied as psychological wellbeing among elderly incarcerated individuals, reproductive health policies in Iran, and end-of-life care practices.

Earning a Sociology degree equips you with versatile skills applicable to numerous professions. Potential career paths span human services, criminal justice reform, population analysis, or the study of social behavior, among many other possibilities.
