We seek students passionate about improving the world, especially for underprivileged and marginalized communities. That's why our sociology program at Crandall University incorporates a social justice emphasis. Collaborate with faculty who actively engage with societal challenges and explore innovative solutions together. To create meaningful change, we believe you must first comprehend how society functions.
That's the value of studying sociology.
Examining human relationships enhances your ability to form meaningful connections. Analyzing major social institutions (such as education, marriage, and religion) reveals pathways for positive transformation. Exploring global issues like immigration patterns and economic disparities equips you to advocate for international justice. Our curriculum covers diverse topics including poverty, demographics, family structures, gender studies, and religious influences.
Real-world engagement complements classroom learning. Participate in local volunteer initiatives or global mission trips through our internship programs. The Sociology Society organizes food drives and service projects, offering practical ways to address suffering in our fractured world. We're committed to nurturing change agents who genuinely care about people.
