The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician certification course equips students with essential technical knowledge and hands-on abilities for careers in electrical and electronics sectors. This comprehensive program delivers practical training across core subjects including mathematics, physics, circuit theory, analytical reasoning, research methods, interpersonal communication, and collaborative work, alongside technical competencies like installing, evaluating, operating, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems. Participants will develop and implement these skills in authentic settings through classroom instruction, intensive practical exercises, and individual or group assignments.
Learners in this program progress through spring semester and graduate after summer term. This accelerated schedule allows students to qualify for second-year placement in either Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology programs, enabling completion of both certificate and diploma qualifications in just 16 months of full-time enrollment.
