Electrical engineers shape countless facets of modern life. They develop critical medical devices, create wireless communication systems, and pioneer innovative energy solutions. Master fundamental skills in electronics, circuit theory, and electromagnetics, then tailor your studies after the first year with specialized courses in nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, or sustainable energy systems. The Electrical Engineering program spans three eight-month academic terms, available after completing first-year Engineering or transferring from Science. Both Electrical and Computer Engineering students share a common second-year curriculum. Recent updates to the undergraduate program enhance hands-on lab experience and engineering design while maintaining rigorous analytical foundations. Choose from specialized tracks including Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology & Microsystems, or Electrical Energy Systems, with the option to pursue a Minor in Honours Mathematics.
