The Canadian Public Policy program is an interdisciplinary field that explores decision-making and policy development in environmental, social, health, and economic sectors. The Canadian Public Policy program equips graduates for roles in government (municipal, provincial, national) and non-profit organizations or private enterprises. Students develop crucial abilities including analytical reasoning (policy assessment, process understanding, public sector standards), documentation (evaluations, summaries, official documents) and presentation skills (written, verbal, digital).
Students registering at Mount Allison are expected to have graduated from high school at the university preparatory level. International English Language Testing System – Academic (IELTS) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0; TOEFL score of 90 (internet test), With minimum band score: Listening: 17; Reading: 18; Speaking: 20; Writing: 17; CAEL (CE) - Canadian Academic English Language Assessment, Computer Edition – 70 With no part lower than 60; Cambridge English (B2 First, C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency) – 176 With no band score lower than 169.
