Transform into a TechCreative professional by diving into the essential skills for design, print, and web production industries.
Hone your abilities at one of Canada's leading digital print education centers.
Acquire real-world expertise through our distinctive living lab program.
Students can select from three specialized learning paths:
Digital Print specialization
Those choosing the Digital Print path will train in the Hugh Cameron Digital Print Learning Centre (DPLC), mastering digital printing, finishing, and packaging techniques. Through practical projects, they'll discover how digital designs evolve into physical products while learning to create production-ready designs that meet industry requirements.
Illustration specialization
Illustration students will cultivate their unique artistic voice by blending traditional media (graphite, colored pencils, Copic markers, gouache, acrylics, and watercolors) with digital tools (including Wacom tablets), all grounded in solid design principles. The curriculum progresses to combining analog and digital techniques for advanced artwork.
User Experience/Interface
UX/UI students will approach web product creation entirely from the user's standpoint via hands-on projects. The UX component covers design thinking, usability evaluation, information architecture, and user journeys. For UI, they'll employ professional tools to develop styled wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes, gaining comprehensive experience across the entire UX/UI workflow.
