The Master of Public Health is an advanced degree program designed for students from diverse backgrounds seeking professional training for careers in public health. This program equips graduates with practical skills to enhance community health and prevent diseases and injuries.
The NutritionDietetics specialization caters to students with undergraduate degrees in dietetics who want to advance their careers in nutrition. It combines academic coursework with an internship, providing qualifications for professional dietetics practice.
The Faculty of Medicine offers various student supports including guest lectures, teaching assistant positions, funding opportunities, dedicated administrative staff, and a specialized graduate studies office. Students also benefit from the Health Sciences Library located near the medical faculty.
The MPH program features two specializations:
The NutritionDietetics track includes coursework, research, and an internship, requiring two years of full-time study.
The PopulationPublic Health track involves coursework plus a final research project or practical experience, achievable in one year of full-time study or through part-time enrollment.
