Developing capabilities to tackle the global and local shift toward sustainability in the 21st century presents an immediate and multifaceted challenge, demanding innovative collaborations and the synthesis of knowledge from diverse fields. The Transdisciplinary Sustainability (TRSU) PhD program at Grenfell Campus seeks to significantly advance the comprehension and resolution of intricate ecological, social, economic, and political challenges by harnessing the distinctive resources of the School of Science and the Environment.
PhD – The doctoral program consists of two mandatory courses, one approved elective (selected in consultation with the supervisory committee), graduate research seminars, a comprehensive examination, and a thesis. Full-time students can finish the program within four years.
