The Ethnomusicology MA and PhD programs at Memorial University present distinctive pathways for those passionate about investigating music as a cultural phenomenon. These programs deliver comprehensive training in modern ethnomusicological theories and methodologies, alongside immersive explorations of ethnographic and historical music research. Students frequently engage with St. John's thriving traditional music community.
