This four-year program welcomes applicants with a high school diploma or post-secondary education experience, including those who have finished undergraduate studies or earned a bachelor's degree. While meeting general admission criteria is necessary, it doesn't ensure program acceptance.
Multiple entry routes exist for the 4-Year nursing program. Newfoundland and Labrador residents receive priority consideration, though applications from out-of-province and international students are also welcomed. Prospective students should consult the Nursing admissions pages relevant to their situation - whether high school applicants, current Memorial University students, other post-secondary students, LPN Bridging candidates, or international applicants.
Each year, up to three spots are allocated specifically for Indigenous applicants who meet admission standards but aren't among the top-ranked candidates. Those seeking consideration under this provision must indicate their Indigenous heritage on the BScN application form and submit supporting documentation.
