The MSW: Critical Leadership in Social Services and Communities program aims to cultivate forward-thinking leaders within community organizations and social service fields. The curriculum specifically helps students develop:
analytical, theoretical, and conceptual competencies for social work practice and policy analysis
awareness of evolving community and service landscapes, along with the challenges and opportunities of ethical leadership in modern society
practical application of these skills and perspectives in leadership roles
Admission to the MSW in Critical Leadership requires prior professional experience in community or social service settings.
Program format: Course-based, Practicum-oriented
To be eligible for admission to the MSW: Critical Analysis of Social Work stream, applicants are required to hold a BSW degree from an accredited* social work program. In addition, admission requirements are: Half course in introductory social research methods; B+ standing in senior-level social work courses. Online Application Form and Fee.
