The MITT Client Service Specialist Certificate (CSS) is a unique program created through collaboration with the Manitoba Tourism Education College (MTEC). While MITT awards the credential, MTEC provides all instruction - delivering ten months of specialized career training and technical courses at their Scurfield Boulevard location (Unit 3 -75 Scurfield Blvd). Following coursework, MTEC facilitates student placements with their employer network for an unpaid, one-month practical experience.
Graduates earn a MITT certificate while gaining versatile skills for frontline roles across various industries. Throughout the CSSC program, participants can additionally obtain these industry-recognized certifications:
Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
Emergency First Aid (Level C with AED Level 1)
Winnipeg Ambassador Program Completion
Conflict Resolution Training
WHMIS Certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
Manitoba high school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent, including:
Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
Students also must be 18 years of age or older by the official start date of the program.
English language requirement:
