Early childhood educators nurture our youngest learners, helping them develop self-awareness and emotional health through play-centered education. Research consistently shows that the preschool years, prior to formal schooling, are vital for cognitive growth and social-emotional development.
The Bachelor of Early Childhood Curriculum program teaches you to understand young children's distinctive learning requirements, emphasizing fairness, inclusion, and child advocacy. You'll gain hands-on experience working with children both at MacEwan's facilities and community childcare centers. Practical training through fieldwork and a final-year internship bridges academic knowledge with real-world application.
