For those seeking fresh perspectives on the world, something thought-provoking and timely, consider Women's Studies. This field offers critical frameworks rooted in real-life experiences, worldwide viewpoints, and cross-disciplinary methods - all valuable tools for navigating our intricate reality.

Langara's interdisciplinary Women's Studies Program exposes students to varied approaches examining women's histories, current realities, critical analyses, and social movements. The program evolves alongside feminist scholarship and activism, incorporating emerging knowledge and methods. Core courses deliver essential frameworks for comprehending how societal changes and continuities affect women's lives - both individually and collectively, from local to global scales. With its curriculum and teaching approaches, Women's Studies highlights issues and narratives of women often excluded from mainstream discourse, thereby illuminating diverse female experiences. This focus on marginalized voices reflects our dedication to expanding and enriching gender-related knowledge.
