This Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares students for careers as communicative disorders assistants, working under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists and audiologists. The in-person program operates from September to August, equipping graduates with skills to develop and execute treatment programs following the guidance of certified professionals.
While the Communicative Disorders Assistant role isn't regulated by a professional college, Lambton College maintains full accreditation. The program meets or surpasses the standards set by the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada, earning their recognition.
